Default New To The Honda Family: ECU Help

Looking forward to jumping in and learning with the community. I have a couple small issues I believe I can get help with here. I took over a 1992 Honda Civic DX ( automatic non-vtec ) from my father that passed away. My mother didn’t want to give it up so I took it off her hands and I’ve been getting my hands dirty fixing this thing up. Having a lot of fun, bunches of junk yard visits and now down to my last two issues. I’m replacing my windshield because the water was getting in through old rubber vinyl. Water dripped onto my ECU and burnt it out. I’m trying to figure out what ECU‘s are compatible with my Honda And the second part to this issue is that I dropped a 1996 Honda Civic engine in there. Can I grab an ECU from those years?
