Hello all, 5th gen prelude guy with axle problems

Hello everyone on Honda-tech. So I recently got a hold of a 5th gen prelude with a H23 swap. I have been out of the import scene for some time now, and getting back (sort of) into it because I have always had a soft spot for preludes. Any how, The problem I'm running into is the driver side axle. Before I get into it, I have searched the web and forums and cannot find a definite solution. Just talk about it. I have the JDM H23 blue top. The intermediate shaft is from a accord. So the driver side axle is an accord as well. After blowing out 3 axles at the inner joint, I noticed after the 4th install that the accord axle is short about 3/4 to an inch( inner boot is stretched out)? It was suggested that I should change the intermediate shaft back to the prelude, and use the prelude axle. So, I ordered them. I received the prelude axle, and still waiting on the mid-shaft. I did however compare the length from the accord to the prelude axle. The accord axle seems to be longer (but still to short for my current set up) than the prelude So my question is, if I install the prelude midshaft and axle, will the mid shaft makeup for the space I'm losing with the accord axle? Do I need to get a longer custom axle? I am at a loss. Please if anyone has ran into this issue, or know of anyone, I would truly appreciate it. If there is already a thread (which I cannot find) please kindly link it to me. Thank again.
