Howdy all! First time Honda owner, long time tinkerer. A couple weeks ago I picked up a 2000 Civic Ex Coupe 5 speed with 216k. My other vehicle is a 2005 Tahoe with just over 272k on the clock. So far i love the car! Ive already changed the plugs, wires, dizzy cap, rotor bug, dizzy o-ring, VC gasket, timing belt, W/P (and all that it entails), shifter knob and oil and coolant. On the way are new headlights, cat back exhaust(cheap ebay one, my current one is rusted off/ smashed in a couple places, tint for the windows, door handles, sway bar links and im in the process of rattle canning the outside lol. Since I have been lurking and reading through here ive learned I need to replace my ISB, so im on the hunt for a used trans to re-build and hopefully have ready when my current one gives up. May end up taking it to a mechanic to install as i dont know if I am capable. Anyhow, this site is full of so much information and wanted to introduce myself!
