F22b2 help

I have a 1996 honda accord wagon lx manual with the f22b2 im looking for headers and exhaust that will bolt up, i seen post about f23 headers and IM working but i dont know which f23 motor that was. Im willing to do wire extending for o2s i just want something other than stock headers

Re: F22b2 help

Header fitment is the same for all F23xx and F22Bx Anything for '94-'02 model year 4-cylinder Accord will bolt up to the engine. I don't recall what the differences were in the outlet flange location. but that's usually an easy fix for a muffler shop or anyone who can cut/weld.

Re: F22b2 help

So i guess my second issue would be hooking up the downpipe and rest of the exhaust together. Will the 4-2-1 downpipe fit on under my oilpan and go in the correct spot that the 4-1 downpipe went? I know my motor has the 0-00-0 ports so if i find a manifold that fits that will the rest fit under the car too?

Re: F22b2 help

If made for the engine model range I listed there should be clearance underneath. I have only ever had issues with poorly made (cheap-o) headers needing modification to fit.
