Default zero oil psi (warm) Please help swapped pumps, pickups, filter, lines...ect

I swapped my B20's oil pump for my old Ls oil pump because I was getting 25ish psi idle untill the engine warmed up than it would drop to ZERO.
I threw a type r filter on it, reworked some turbo oil lines. and still no psi, Soo i did the pump.
But I did notice afew things when I drope the pan
-no metal on magnetic drain plug.
-oil pick up was very clean. (little or no garbage), But pickup was dented a bit near screen, and the oil pan was also dented... Would these two prblems cause a system to have low oil pressure or even starve the pump.??

i had this issue on a sohc i had ... It the pan smashed against the pick up so tight that it cant get a volume of oil picked up .. to create psi?

i would say .. change the pan and the pick up.. maybe there is something sitting behind the pick up screen..seen that before also.

did u start it with the new pump on it? and no oil PSI?

are you sure teh guage is accurate? hard to believe you have an engine that runs and turns over with 0psi oil pressure.

yea but like i said no metal in the pan + its only got 40K on it...
I highly doubt 2000 mile oil changes and only 40K my motor would be failing....

get a new mechanical gauge and install a new line that isnt kinked, also the dented pan can cause this. What weight oil are you using?
