ZC timing help needed

Hi,

I just bought a 1990 CRX Si with a ZC motor swap.
I need some help to get it running right. It is using the Si ecu, I get codes 1 and 4. I think these codes are ECU and o2 sensor, but I am not one hundred percent. The car runs rough, it only revs up to 3400 rpms, and then cuts out, as if with a rev limiter. The exhaust is sooty looking. I have not had a chance to check my plugs for fouling yet. The car has a new cam angle sensor on it. The exhaust manifold is from the old SI motor, I have the top half of the ZC exhaust manifold, but I have had no luck finding the downpipe. The car is at home, and I am at school. I am going to go home to work on it this weekend if I can get any ideas on what to fix. I think the timing might be off or it might be a distributor problem. And I need a new o2 sensor too. I plan on a zc or teg ecu I really want to get this running, I need all the help I can get. Thanks in advance.

The code 1 is the o2 sensor, the code 4 is the CRANK sensor in the distributor. You possibly have the wires crossed, not hooked up, shorted, or confused with CYL sensor on the exhaust cam.

You should get a Helm manual for the CRX (a Civic manual will do), and a Helm for an 88-89 Integra (it's wired the same as the ZC). I see Integra helm's on ebay for less than $20 all the time.
