Yes I said D16A. I'm sitting here looking right at one on the florr of the shop here. It appears to be a 1996-up JDM SOHC VTEC much like our 1996-up D16Y8 stuff. Funny thing is that it still says "VTEC" on the valve cover unlike our USDM 1996-up EX motors.

So, for anyone who's ever seen D16A, and not just D16A6 and such, there is such a motor.

I'm guessing it's hp rating would be around 135 or so? If the USDM one is at 127hp, then the JDM motors usually hit 10 or so more RATED hp due to better gas and compression, and ECU tuning.

Just thought I'd throw that out there - I'll bet these motors are CHEAP and a dime a dozen in Japan.

We also have a DUAL CARB motor from a JDM EG! Yes, the EG style Civics had both a single and dual carb version! Weird stuff.
