Yonaka Motorsport H22A Swap Mounts?
Anyone ever heard of these mounts?
Local shop sells them, they say they're polyurethane high performance engine mounts and they're guaranteed for life. They want $300 (that's CND btw, around $250US).
So anyone heard of them.

Hasport aren't for bling man. They may look better than the HCP's, but you're an idiot if you think they are only for bling.

Just do a search. Hasport mounts will allow you to use traction bars without the headaches us HCP owners have.

Were your HAsports mounts the welded type, of the full billet ones?
If they were the welded type then you see why HASport went to billet. HCP is still the welded type, which is not as good as billet.
Also did you ever contact HASport about your broken mounts? HASport will replace the mount without incident, and hell they even replaced my pal's welded mounts with the billets for FREE because the bushing in his rear mount broke twice on his old type mounts.
Welded > Steel IMo, and obviously many engineers' opinions too.

I'm guessing the busted mounts were produced 2-3+ years ago. The billet mounts seem to be damn near invincible. and doesn't Hasport gaurantee them like B18C5-EH2 said?

The driver's side HCP mount is billet . Hasports > HCP, but HCP's are half the cost, and I've never had a problem with mine (1 year).

I'm guessing around a year ago, when I bought mine. I'll post a pic after I get my car back from the shop. The tranny mount and rear mount are welded though.

You= Did I say they were only for bling? No... The bottom line is that Hasport mounts are twice the price of HCP's, and HCP's work perfectly fine. From the nature of this guy's post, he's looking to be economical. I've had my H23A EG for over a year now, and I've had no problems with my HCP mounts. And the driver's side mount is billet...woo-hoo

Re: Yonaka Motorsport H22A Swap Mounts? (JDM H23A)
I've had an H22 EG since late 2002. 2 actually. The first one was totalled in an accident. I rebuilt the motor and stuck it in another EG. The mounts were undamaged, despite the fact that my block slammed into a huge concrete pipe sticking out of the ground. The block broke and the mounts didn't. Overall I've put over 60,000 miles of hard driving on my Hasport mounts, including an accident that totalled the car.
As far as I can tell, they are good as new.
I wonder if HCP mounts can do that?
