Well, I went to my dad's friends shop last night. The guy has been welding for something like 30 years or so. He fixed the tranny leak.
Now onto the bad news...I got hail (ie HELL) damage so bad it's covered my poor CX. Golf ball sized hail that was hitting with a FURY. It looks so bad I have to guess it'll be around $2k damage (which might prompt them to total it out).

Not to make light of your misfortune but god must drive a mustang
Seriously though, if they total it try to squeese them for the work you put into it and definitely pull the motor. You can always drop that bad boy in another civic.
Too bad though. I love white civics and it looked really clean. Sorry to hear about this.

Jesus Christ...
Don't let them total it... You'll get screwed...
I'm guessing you were either at work or only had room for the ITR in the garage. That blows after all the work to put the swap in...thats why I'm saying to try to get the to fix the damage...Either Paintless Dent repair might work, or you can get a paintjob outta them
