98 Civic D16Y8 converted to OBDI

Still in the planning stages of my JDM D15 swap to replace my dying Y8 and thanks to searching and you guys here I found out what I have to do with the distributor.

But my next question is, could I use my Y8 intake manifold on the JDM D15? I thought this may be easier as far as plugging the harness back in and with the sensors on the intake. I’m not sure if there are any different sensors from the D15 intake and the Y8. I will have to put my 450 injectors in the D15 anyway as I’ll be swapping my turbo on to this motor, so I thought I might as well just swap the intake manifolds. I promise when I do this swap I will do a nice write up with pictures to help anyone else out the best I can.

yes you can use the y8 mani
i have a y8 mani on my zc
flows the best out of the oem d series
there may be an extra coolant line on the mani or the motor
can't remember
EDIT: i forgot that 99-00 y8 manis will NOT fit
