Default WTF, cant figure this thang out

Hi, i have a 96 civic ex coupe and i recently put in a b18c1. the motor is a 98 and so is the ECU, the only code i get is 54 which is the crankshaft speed fluctuator. whatever that does. Anyway. Its is a 2 wire sensor, and there are 2 wires that go into the ecu for the sensor. the middle plug, slots one and two. Now, do i just need to make sure that these 2 wires just make it to the sensor? I think the wires might be wrong. The stock EX motor had a 3 wire plug for the sensor and my new motor has a 2 wire. so i know i had to take out one. which i have, and got a new plug to match. But how do i know im getting the right wires to the sensor from the ECU? anyonw got a clue??

well, i have a 98 gsr in my 2000 coupe ex. i just cut the 2 wires from my harness to lengthen it and connected it to the CKP located by the alternator pulley. if you have a 96, your wire harness should already have the CKP sensor on it.

So you are saying that the original EX motor has a 3 Wire CKF? Are you sure that you have the right sensor? Can you take some pics?

Just wire together the wires that are the same color, and don't use the third wire.
