With the stock GSR header, it will come up about 4" too short of meeting up to the exhaust or cat flange depending on what model you have. It's always good to upgrade to bigger piping after the swap, but if you are on a budget you can use the stock piping, just get the gap filled in.

what model EG do you have? I have a CX, and I'm planning on temporarily using my stock exhaust with a short extension for my GSR. I also have a RSR header. Diameter of the pipe is usually 2 1/4 right villian?

2 1/4" is good for mild NA, if you plan to build up and/or FI then 2.5" is better, which is what most people go with. With the GSR, if you buy an ITR/B16 header it will eliminate the need to fill in the gap.
