Default Would a b20z need a different o2 sensor than a d16y7?

I have a 2001 B20z in a 98 dx with the dx wiring and an OBD1 LS ecu chipped for fuel. The only CEL's I'm getting after going OBD1 are 1 (Oxygen Sensor "A" -Primary defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor) and 41 (Primary Oxygen Sensor - Heater circuit malfunction).

do I need a different o2 sensor because the one that I used was off my SOHC dx motor? if this o2 sensor works with the b20 then i may just need to replace it.

-thanks

No the 4 wire O2's are the same, you can even use the secondary O2 from an OBDII as the primary and vice versa. Check the O2 plug then the wiring and also check the OBDI jumper harness, they aren't always 100% accurate.
