Default Would a b16a2 fit 97 civic cx hatchback???????????

I have a 2000 civic si complete engine with tranny and all I has wondering if the motor would fit into my 97 hatchback. And what would I need to make it work etc... Do I need to rewire the harness My little project car. I'm new at this engine swap any help would be very helpful. If possible any wire diagram would be helpful Thanks Jimmy

Easiest thing to do is get a 96-98 EX harness (has Vtec). Get an ITR ecu.

Sell the Si ecu and harness.

You will be all aet.

The 99-00 Si harness and ecu won't work in your car without rewiring the interior.
