Worst swap experience ive ever heard of....... cinci oh
I have spent 13,000 and over one year between 2 seperate tuning shops trying to get a basic b20/vtec swap in my 89 crx . The shop im dealing with RACELINE LLC in cincinnati told me 2 weeks to convert my obd-0 to an obd-1 and tune using crome. Well here i am 4 months later and thay keep telling me that its almost finished (when i can get a return call) they are still witing it!!! Do i keep waiting or just put this piece of crap in the gartage and forgfet about it . do you think i should sell it for 5 or 6 thousand bucks/ or just leave it at the shop untill its ready? PLEASE HELP I NEED ANOTHER OPINION THESE guys have cars in HONDA_TUNING all the time so i just assumed tuning my car would be easy compared to the 600 hp monsters i see then build. I NEED A CAR BAD , any good trades e-mail me

I say stop by and take a look. If things are not looking close to done it's time for a can of whoop-***.
IMO it doesn't matter what the shop has done in the past or their claims to fame.
Even the best shop around can have a new hire working on your car...
4months on an OBD0 to OBD1 convert is waaay too much time even if they were not working on the car for half of that time.

Re: (Relic1)
god damn that's ages. my mate rewired his entire DC integra from OBD1 to OBD2 in one night and he doesn't even know alot about cars.
I think you should seriously question what they are doing and when they give you a bill double check on hours spent doing there work. And i also think you should finish your project, to spend that much and leave it in your shed is not the best way.

that is BULLSHIT
You should just go hang out at the shop to see if they are even working on it
if you keep bugging them they will be more motiveted to get it done
the squeaky wheel gets the grease
good luck

Spellcheck owns you! But it owns me too so thats no problem.
I'd go to them ask them to show you exactly what they have done if you dont see rsults take your car and do it yourself!. or buy 1200 worth of beer and have a honda-tech swap my car party
