Wiring Questions... OBD2 to OBD1
I have a 97 Hatch and im putting a JDM h22a in (OBD2 car with OBD1 motor).
There are a few wires that I am a bit confused about what they are.
Any help would be much appreciated.
I think that they are the Map, IACV, TPS and the other I don't know. But I don't know which is which.
The wires are next to the Injector wires on a 96 CX harness.

Hard to tell from the pictures, but I will arrange my answers similarly to how you are holding the plugs
IAT
VSS (Could also be for a 3 wire IACV) | TPS | MAP
EVAP PURGE

The IAT (Intake Air Temp) on the civic may be in the rubber intake arm. On the H22, I believe its on the intake manifold. Typically on runnuner #1 or on the side of the manifold. It's typically a white plastic sensor, so you'll have to salvage a 2 wire round plug off the H22 harness.
Yeah, the purge is 2 wire, thats why I suggest the 2 wire connector If you meant IAC, then yeah, it should be 2 wire on the H22, but it may have been 3 wire on the old motor. You might need to salvage that connector off the H22 harness as well. Any other questions hit me up, if you're still stuck, send me a PM and I'll see if I cant help you figure this out. I wont be able to check until later tonight though, going to go put in my SiR shift linkage and LSD tranny, w00t! I'm going to destroy that HCP adjustable linkage POS.
