Wiring question regarding B18C1 in 93 Si hatch
What wire does the knock sensor(pink/blue) from the Integra engine harness meet up to on the chassis harness of the Civic? On my harness it is Red w/ black tracer but I cannot find where it leads.
Can this wire be rerouted to the ecu from inside the cabin, with or without extension?
Thanks

Re: (Relic1)
I understand that.
But there is a wire on the Civic harness that meets up with the pink/blue wire of the integra knock sensor. I want to know where that wire goes so that i can go inside the cabin and redirect it to the ECU.

Re: (blbvtec)
I'm not seeing a pink/blu wire on my harness diagram (94 civic).
On the passengers side shock towers top-most plug, there are 3 pink colored wires that head to the ECU (reading pin number from left to right while facing towards the rear of the car):
pin-6 Pink/Wht - map sensor - goes to D17 pin on ECU
pin-11 Pink/Blk - tps sensor - goes to D11 pin on ECU
pin-12 Pink - alternator - goes to D9 pin on ECU
None of the other shock tower harness connectors have pink wires on the fire-wall side. Is it possible the car has already been modified to carry the knock sensor signal? What plug & pin number is your pink/blu wire on?
If your car is already wired for kock sensor, you will have a wire coming out of your D3 pin on the ECU. This wire should be sheilded, otherwise electro-magnetic interference will cause your ECU to retard your ignition timing...

ok now I understand what you're saying... according to Helm, there is only one red/blk wire at the shock towers on a eg. Make sure this is the one you are refering to....
C102 pin 3 which is a ground that leads to A26 of the ECU.
pin locations... second from the top on the left is C102.
