I just dropped a 99 b18b in my 96 civic hatch. I used the civic harness, did all the proper extensions and modifications to the harness car runs grate. But since a 96 car is ODB2A and a 99 car is ODB2B there's a fuel tank pressure sensor (FTP)missing and my car is throwing code 91 (FTP) low or high input. Anybody know if i can bypass, or do i have to put the senors in?

Hey man I was wondering one of my friends is swapping a b16a2 and I believe that it is OBD2b so will it have the same problem or more and also what problems will he run into as far as wiring. I know about the extensions but anything else other than that and also should he run the b16a2 ECU or a different one. Thanks

If your putting it in a 96-98 civic you can buy an Si hraness and it will be plug and play other then the code 91, and if it is going in a 99-00 if you buy the SI harness it is plug and play.(i have a code 91 fix in someone esles post) search "code 91, how do i get rid of?" you will find it if not pm i'll help.

If money is a problem then I know you can use the a D engine harness but
I don't know much about wiring v-tec so check this post for rewiring with D engine harness with v-tec. "Gathering ek wiring infomation"
