Will a SOHC Turbo Manifold work if redrilled on DOHC???
So i hear a bunch of rumors that a SOHC Manifold will work on a DOHC...
They say you can redrill the manifold and use it. Is this true?
The only thing i can think taht could be a problem is that the ports will not line up or even match up...

Are you talking about d-series manifolds on b-series motors?
I do not believe that will work.
If you are talking about a d-series manifold, on a zc motor, I have heard that works. From what I have read( prefacing this as not first hand knowledge ), the Greddy sohc vtec( 92-95 civic ) turbo kit, is a modified version of a kit they sold for the zc in Japan.
There have been a few threads in the crx/ef forum about this kit, and the necasary modifications to make it work. There is a link to a sight floating around inone of those threads,.....sorry, I don't know what it is though.
Good luck

MB, how well does all of that line up? Do you need to open up the ports much? Does any metal need to be added to the manifold for the holes for the studs?
That sounds like a possible project for me. Maybe in an EX 4 door?? mmmmm

I did it.. i took a stock CX header and redrilled the holes.. i also tried to portmatch the exhaust ports so it would be a smoother transtion from before.. haven't run it yet, but i hope it will suffice, if not.. i guess i'll have to guy an actual turbo manifold..

If you already have one laying around( and don't mind messing it up if it doesn't work ), I don't see what it would hurt to try?
However if you do not have a manifold at all, Why buy the SOHC manifold for the DOHC motor? Why not just buy the right one to start with?
