you left out some important details.

the iacv from pretty much all b-series motors are the same. if you are swapping a b-series into your car you won't be able to use the dx iacv.

that is WRONG

Yes, your IACV will fit onto the type R manafold. It wont however fit onto a 1st or 2nd gen b16 manafold! 89-95

I also know that the 2000 CRV IACV fits aswell.

SO then if it fits , I wont have to modify the wiring on the IACV plug, RIGHT?

damn i passed up a perfectly good iacv on my stock dx throttle body and bought one from a crv for my swap. sorry for the misinformation.

i did however have to cut the harness plug from the dx wiring harness and use an integra plug to make it connect to the iacv correctly.

speaking of WRONG, here are pictures of a B-series vs. a D-series IACV so you can make an educated inference. notice the 4 square bolt pattern on the dx and the line of 3 bolts on the Si.

the only way to make it fit would be to use that little dx throttle body, which your old iacv would bolt to, and that of course would not be a smart idea.

well the one i took off my manafold was 2 bolts and on the back of the manafold, not on the throttle body.

Im speaking from what I did, and what worked for me.

Of course hondas are strange ungodly creatures that change all the time.

Ill get some pictures of my case

You all need to be clear on what DX your talking about. 92-95 DX has the IACV that is the same as the Si one. If your talking 96-up then yes it's different.

Well on the LS swap I just eliminated the orange wire(taped it up). I also had to repin ecu a14-a12. I think you also have to repin with the EX ecu. Also I would use a 96-98 ex ecu as it is obd2, the later ecu's are obd2.2 witch your wiring harness will not plug into the ecu.
