first 88-91 cars are non obd meaning most of the plugs and electronics are different and not really interchangable.
d16z6 = d15b there is almost no difference (the JDM is uses a 1.5l block instead of the 1.6) so the harnesses are the same if you compare LHD cars to each other (JDM harness faces opposite side as far as the main shock tower plugs)
OBDI motor into non obd car. if mpfi then, change the distributor plugs, injector plugs, lenghten the temp sensor and add the oBDI type connector (one by the thermostat), this way you can use OBDI electronics, now its time to make or purchase nonobd to OBDI harness converter. this makes the whole thing much easier. (look in the best buy ) blown90hatch makes them at good price)
other wiring add ons are vtec solenoid one wire, one ground from oil pressure and oil pressure switch to ecu.

if your car is a 95 just use the same wiring harness and run the extra wires.
vtec solenoid
vtec oil pressure switch
vtec solenoid
vtec oil pressure switch
