sorry but we need details.
what year car
is the motor stock?
what aftermarket part?
are there any codes?
does this happen @ WOT or partial throttle?
what ECU?

my car hesitates under partial throttle from about 2k-3k.
It's really annoying, and quite hard to pinpoint the problem.

what do you mean by hesitate.. like studder? bog? just dont go anywhere
my h22 was like studderring up till 3k then it hit.. like i was on Nitrous or it was spooling lol... i had no go till 3 k then BOOM ... learned that the vibration was causing my wire plugs to come out of the Dizzy. had to push them back in.. no problems since

Sigh all you people are just dropping in engines and not doing research. If you still have your stock fuel pump then your car is going to buck. Ludes like a static fuel pressure to be at like 38psi and you stock pump will never flow anywhere near there. Upgrade the pump and that will take car of your part throttle bucking..
Now you owe me 5 bucks.

i havent had any problems like that though i jsut swapped out the dx fuel pump for a walbro high pressure pump.
the original pump did 23 psi at idle and 38 psi at high rpm, now it sits at 30 psi at idle and 45 psi at high rpm.

Whoa, I'm at 42 I believe at idle. Maybe I'm a little too high on it

I am also @ 38psi at Idle and 49psi with vacuum lin off. I think it runs good no stuttering or nothing.

Re: (fastwanabe)
Like I said 40 to 42psi should be about stock.. So you ar fine. But you can bump it all the way down the 36psi and the car will pull like a monster.. I just never kept it there because I have nothing to monitor A/F yet..
