why does my car cutoff at 6500rpm when it used to be 7500?
I have a h22 in my civic, and have had it in there for over a year now sometimes when I drive it it cuts out and hits the "rev limiter" at 6500 when it used to be 7500. The computer right now is a stock p13 computer in a 92-95 civic. It's obviously a wiring issue, but I just don't no where to start right now. The car is not throwing any codes (kinda weird). But I no this has happen to some people when installing vafcs and doing motor swaps, so basicly my question is what wires can make my rev limiter change? any help would be greatly appreciated!

it's not the cap, it's not the rotor, and there is oil pressure.
I heard it can be the vtm wire when doing a vafc what pin is that on the 92-95 civic ecu? maybe a pin became loose?
