It's always a good thing to learn some stuff. Try it out.
I would do it for sure if you have a spare vehicle and some air tools.
Def use air tools.

Re: WhO dose your motor swap? (CivicHB_92)
I've heard a lot of b series swaps being done by just individuals. Seems like it's just bolt-on with the right motor mounts. If you got the tools and loads of time. Hey why not?
But if that's not the case and/or you want to do a h22 swap which need a lot of custom works. You should definitely find a shop to do it. My friend is getting a b18c1 swap done at Import Builders.
Go check them out at http://www.importbuilders.com and/or http://www.importreview.com

Re: WhO dose your motor swap? (kim307)
Even the H22's are almost bolt in...... Nothing really huge.
Do it yourself. The only reason not to would be if you were doing something big such as putting the NSX engine in a CRX, or a 13B in a miata, 2JZ into Mr2, RB26 into 240 etc....

Re: WhO dose your motor swap? (kim307)
I wanna put a 94+ LS motor in my 92 hatchback cx, it seems easy, take old motor out and change axles and shifelinage and monts and etc...and put new motor in but the only thing im not sure about is the wiring...since the LS motor is non-vtec and my hatch cx is non-vtec too...then i guess no vtec wiring but...how do i do the wiring? is there any websites on how to do Ls swaps or anyone wanna help me out?
THANKS!

I did my own swap, and am now getting paid to do a swap for a friend. We just have the engine out of his car, he has yet to buy a replacement engine!

If you are not that good......I would recommend not to do it yourself.....if you want to learn ....than ask the person who do your swap if you can be his/her helper ......IT'S EASY ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING.
BTW: i did my own swap with the help of a friend....
