Whic CF hood to use for h22 into ED9 CRX?
I am currently sourcing parts to do a h22 into CRX (89 shape), my question is which CF hood do I need to clear the top of the engine/valve cover? I believe HASPORT have used a CF hood in the sport compact car september issue when they did their swap. Does anyone know which CF hood they used?
Thanks in advance

The company above may of sacraficed a few areas to get it in and done. On my motor mount kit you can use the stock USDM hood. Let me ask you something. Who would you buy a motor mount kit from? A large company that makes motor mounts for any honda/acura application and spent a few hours on the h22 crx motor mount kit and sacraficed a few areas just to get it done for production so they can go to another car. Or would you buy a motor mount kit from someone that has souly mastered the h22 swap in a EF 88-91 Civic/Crx and has spent hundreds of hours perfecting the kit just to get it right and make a wonderful strong durable piece. Steel is stronger then aluminum. Not to mention my kit is cheaper so how can you go wrong. On my h22 crx daily driver I have a 2" drop via AGX shocks and skunk2 coils and I still have 3 1/2" of ground clearance which is plenty! I have yet not found a bump that I could not take on. As you can tell I am very happy with my kit and others will see in time why.

PS-Hasport spent a lot of time developing the mounts as well. They didn't come out overnight.
I'm not here to argue, just stating that Hasport makes a quality product and does their research as well. I'm not downing your mounts, they may be better or as good. Either way, good luck with sales. Just give me a price

Re: (RotiEatter)
I went with HASPORT because they are the industry leaders in engine mounts (or thats what I gathered from this side of the pond, specially when it comes to hondas). They have taken a long time to be developed which is annoying but im sure they will release a great mount kit very shortly. Dont get me wrong im sure your mount kit is great also I just cant afford to take the risk. Lots of people have given me the thumbs up for HASPORT products
What is the price of your mounts? HASPORTS are $599 if bought through full-race.com they also include a hydro to cable clutch conversion.
Cheers for the replys

Re: (djnikko)
I believe the fibre images hood works with this swap, its proving difficult to get one shipped to the UK thou.
Anyone know any decent couriers in the US that can help get a CF hood to my door in the UK (london)?
Thanks
