where does my fast idle hose go!?
so, im in the garage swapping parts from my jdm b16a to my new itr mani and ran into this...
you can see where the fast idle hose connects onto this original mani...
uh oh! here is the itr mani... nowhere for my poor hose to go!
we think it plugs in here on my thermostat housing
and for reference, this is the same spot as the last pic, but on an itr...that hose fitting is not there and the fast idle does connect to the intake manifold.
anyone know where my hose connects and out of curiosity, why is my setup different then the other motor?
thanks!!!!

Re: where does my fast idle hose go!? (FnkyChnkyMnky)
I ran into this problem, my set up was a little different though ! I put a 98 B18B motor into a 90 TEg !!
( i THINK ) OBD 2 motors DONT use the fast idle air valve and OBD 1 and OBD 0 motors DO !! I think you have 2 choices here, either swap the thermostsat housings ( pain in the *** ) or plug up the outlet for the hose on the housing or put a TEE fiting on the hose that goes from the intake to the pipe, ( the pipe that goes from the water pump to the thermostat housing
