Here's a pic of one. Not sure if the angle is going to help you.

hmm, doesn't really look like mine. That's a passenger side axel eh? there's no balancer grommet. that's an aftermarket axel?

thanks,

d

I boight a replacement axle and it didnt have the balancer either but was for the driver side. so now between my picture and the other guys you have a pic of both axles.

Yes, it is from Raxles, and it is a passengerside.

so i'll just line up the pic of the ones they sent me and try to figure out which one is the correct passenger side axel and which is the phony.

i'm guessing the middle one, by the length btw the joints. I was hoping to just compare the grommets tho

Those are both passenger side axles. See the splines on the left side? The drivers side is full splined and the passengerside is half splined.

Actually the one with the orange is hard to tell if it is half or full.

The bottom one is a 94+ driverside.

by full splined, do you mean the splines extend the entire length of the shaft beyond the joint?

Yep, that cut one is definately the drivers side, but the dolt sent me two nearly identical passenger sides, instead of one of each.

I'm inclined to believe that the middle oneis the correct gsr right side axel, because the grommets closely match. They both fit tho, but tehy are nearly an inch different in length, so i'm worried about just trying them to see.

he's supposed to be sending me a real left side axel.

Yes full splined meaning that the splines go the entire length past the joint.

From my experiance, all the B series axles with the exception of the JDM type R five lug ones are the same length, and Mardi at Raxles confirmed that. Even the earlier B's from the civic/crx and the teg, just they had a male inner joint on the drivers side, as opposed to the female 94+ B series.

EDIT: The JDM ITR five lugs are the same length, but are 36mm diameter at hub instead.

EDIT@: I'm thinking the middle one is a D series.

after 2 weeks of waiting this import guy finally sends me my axels. He sent a good drivers side axel and he returned the shorter of the two axels i did have and said its the correct passenger side one.

The shorter one was WRONG, it pulled out of the tranny while i was driving it. jerk. So forget dealing with him, i'm just going to get a rebuilt one, BUT...

They don't have "gsr" listed in their axel models. Just '94 - 99 integra. Are they all the same?
