Default whats the weghit of an EK hatch?
because if an ITR weighs 2600 + or -.... and a civic SI weighs a tad bit less... how much does an EK hatch weigh?

1996-98 is 2297 for CX and 2317 for DX.

99-00 is 2359 for CX and 2388 for DX.

The main difference is a large metal bar that goes across the car just below the rear seats. I chucked that bar

okay... and i'm guessing the difference between the CX and DX is the AC?? well i wanna keep AC in my project car.... so will i need the AC from the DX? or the AC from the b18c5 thats going in?

My 96 CX w/ ac and B18c1 weighs 2325 full interior. A little less when I get the CF hood.

COOL! how much did you pay for the EK? also... when you did teh swap..... which AC did you use? I hope it's not the compressor off the b18c because mine is squashed..... you use the AC compressor stuff from the EK right?

u can use the ek a/c comp. no problem.

But you are going to have to use a Si power steering pump when the swap goes in.

Just thought I'd throw that in.

In autox trim (CF hood, no rear seats), my ITR weighed in at 2425 with a/c still on the car
