What's the going price for a B18c these days?
I've seen them from 3000 to 600.
I have a 94 wrecked GSR. Someone told me I could get 3500 for the engine. Then in the last week there's been a guy selling one on HT for 600, (but he won't give the VIN )
Most places on the web are 2500-3K. I would just like to know what the fair market value is.
Thanks to all that reply!

It depends, how many miles on it? Was it damaged at all in the accident? Do you still have the axels and ecu? Are they good? Ball park - $1,400 to 3,000. -HIT

I guess that would be a pertinent piece of info. It has a little over 122K on it. Thanks for the info!

1700 for a b15c5??
Even I know thats damn low. Does he offer VIN's? Sounds just as fishy as the guy trying to sell his for 600

With 122k on the odo, I wouldnt doubt you get around 1500-2000 for the whole swap complete.

Around $3500 for the complete changeover (engine, transmission, ECU, etc) seems to be the going rate from salvage yards and importers in California these days. But since you are a private party and probably not willing to offer any kind of warranty on your motor, you will have to ask less. Maybe $2500-$3000 for the complete changeover or $1800-$2000 for just the complete motor. But these are California prices. If you live elsewhere, you won't get this much.

Yeah but the 3000'ish prices are for those swaps around 40K , once again non SoCal prices will be cheaper. The high milage will hurt you, but having papers is a plus. My 1500 offer still stands.
