Default what year integra LS engine needed to swap into 89 crx si,,

yeah i have a 89 crx si, i was curious what year integra engine is needed to swap in my car, i heard 90-93, but ive heard different, also what mounts are needed to do this? the hasports that swap a b18c1 into a CRX? lastly what is the availabilty of a LSD tranny for that engine?(cable).. if anyone has knowledge of this it would be greatly apprecited.. thanks

90-93 (b18a)ls motors would be the easiest since they already have a cable tranny...but he 94>(b18B) would be basically the same if u just swap out the hydro tranny for an older cable tranny...yes the LS and the GSR use the same HASport motor mounts...anything b-series will work with those mounts...
as far as LSDs i only know of the y1 trannys having a stock LSD but the came in the b16a fitted cars in japan as an option...the LS motor uses a longer geared tranny cuz it doesnt have vtec so im not sure it would be that great to use that tranny...u just might have to dish out the $$$ for an aftermarket LSD....hope this helps

oh, I'm not exactly sure, but I heard the LSD in the y1 tranny's was an option and not all of them will have an LSD in them.

recently my friend just wrecked his 92teg gs in the right rear. no brake damage. no motor damge, bad trans tho. either way i bought it from him for 500 bux!!

On 94+ B series I believe you need a '92-93 rear and driver's side engine bracket (what the engine mount attatches to) because of block differences.
