what would you do with $12k.....
well me and a couple buddies are planning on building a semi-full-race EG hatch. we havent decided what motor/turbo/internals/etc where gunna get yet, but what would you guys get. sorry for the stupid question but im still learning a lot about honda's and i jes wanna know whats all out there. and how much **** is. TIA 
EDIT: o and we still gotta buy the hatch with the 12k so put that in your expenses. thnx

EG + internally stock B16 and a Greddy turbo.... hehe j/k that is one of the stupidest ideas i've ever come up with..... My friend Kenny has a GSR with Golden Eagle sleeves, JE pistons, Crower rods, Portflow B16 head, Rev Hard stage 2C turbo with a straight T04 turbo, a 42.5mm turbo inovation wastegate, JG Edelbrock Victor X intake manifold, 900cc injectors, controlled by a Blitz SBC boost controller and Hondata 4b. It's in his EK boosting 22psi which made 505whp and 350 torque. I would put this setup in an EG and let it go... hehehehe

Traction sucks tho.... right now his best is an 11.80@119 There's just no traction through third on MT 24.5x9x13 slicks...

My b20/vtec long block is for sale. Perfect if you want to go fast in your hatch. 200whp and 130-140wtq on motors with similar mods. Do you plan to go FI or NA? I live 15 minutes away from garden grove also, you can check out my motor anytime.

Yes. What type of racing? that has a HUGE determination on how you build up the car. I cant even begin to describe anything without knowing what the goal was.
However.... In a nutshell. Road Race = high compression NA and head work. Drag Race = turbo and bottom end work.
Suspension setups are obviously completely diferent as well.

1988 CRX HF with B18c1, skunk2 stage 2 cams, eagle rods, jpe 9 to 1 compression pistons, Mugen N1 ECU, STR intake manifold, 70MM throtle body, REVHARD 2c turbo kit, blitz bov, some underdrive pully's and cam gears... relocate the battery to the hatch in order to make enough room for the turbo, upgrade axles with race axles, pop on some nitto's or hoosiers and pump about 15-20 PSI through there and your golden...you should be making in the 400HP range, but with a car that stock weighed 1800 pounds, that will be low 11's or 10's

h22 G3 integra w/ jackson racing supercharger. all the basic i/h/e. carbon fiber hood, lighter seats, or anything else to make it not front heavy. that'll slurp up that 12k i believe.
