What wires do i need to run for obd2 ver 2 to obd2 ver1?
I have a 00 civic (obd2 ver 2)and i was thinking of a jdm motor which is obd2 ver1. I believe is obd2 ver1. Can i just run some wires for the harness, or do i need to get a skunk2 type converter harness? Thanks !

Ver 1 and Ver 2 use pretty much the same wires. They are just ordered differently in the connectors.

Don't kill youself. Just get a converter harness and run an OBD 1 ecu.
I was in the same situation you were in. Did the above and it works perfect.

Either way you'll need a converter harness.
Either for OBDIIb to OBDIIa and use the ITR ecu.
or better, OBDIIb to OBDI and get a chipped OBDI P28.
