What OBD 1 B-series header has a O2 sensor?
Okay, I'm swapping in a 95 B18c1 into my 89 CRX... anyone know of a header that has an O2 sensor bung in it? the only header that I've been able to find is one from DC for a 92-93 Gsr but I want to make sure this is smog legal/BAR for the Referee. I would put a 4 wire O2 sensor in it anyways.
I really don't want to have to weld in a bung into a brand new header because all the other applications have no bung.

Re: (slammed_93_hatch)
uh sorry now they do not, I recently had a shop order a 95 DC Gsr header for me and it did not have an O2 sensor (btw this is for a 4-1) From my understanding the oem placement of the O2 sensor is in the piping of the cat?

just find a nut that fits the O2 sensor and weld it into the header about 6-12 inches from the flange for the cat
and as far as i know they all have the o2 sensor PRE cat.
and all DC headers ive installed have the bung already welded.

Re: What OBD 1 B-series header has a O2 sensor? (APEX CRX)
I understand what you are saying, I have a 99 B18C1 swap in my 92 VX. The GSR header is about 4" shorter than the other B series headers and doesn't have the hole for an O2, it's in the cat instead.
If you don't have the exhaust made/bought or modded yet to fit a GSR header, you could get an ITR/Si header which will have a hole for 1 O2 sensor. The length of those headers is also more ideal since they will meet up to a stock or cat-back exhaust made for the chassis.

Re: What OBD 1 B-series header has a O2 sensor? (VTECVillain)
THANK YOU VTECvillian, I knew someone would finally understand what I'm talking about. So an aftermarket ITR header would have 1 O2 sensor even though the car was OBD2? How about the Si, I had called DC and they said for the 99 Si it did not have an O2 sensor bung in it? hmmmm. guess I gotta make some more calls.
