well to be honest, the reason exhausts are loud is becuase their free flowing... the quieter the exhaust, the more backpressure there is.... which in sense means the less hp gained...

u cant really have both quiet exhaust and more hp

I'm running a 2.5" KTeller mild steel piping with a Magnaflow Resonator and a Magnaflow ES Oval Style muffler.

It looks stock, very quiet at idle, decent volume for a h22 at crusing speeds, and pretty loud at WOT

i have a high flow cat, an 18 inch resinator, and flowmaster exhaust with a 3 inch pencil shape tip looks like the stock ex but bigger, i dynomated under my rear seat so its more quiet on the inside, its not very loud outside and the tone is awesome. and flow master of course is great for gaining power from exhaust, its not something everyone does but i tried it and it worked out great for me i love it GL

I just ordered my 2.5" piping about 2 months ago and the entire transaction went smooth as can be. ****, i think they even OVER emailed and stayed in contact with me... lol.

Keep the stock muff. Its worth 1 or 2 whp to look stock. I don't want cops, or anyone else for that matter, to notice my car.

Everyone has different definitions of LOUD

I have a Greddy SP Exhaust, a resonator, and I think it's still too loud.

Planning on putting on a stock RSX Muffler.

I have to agree with you. I ordered my exhaust there about 18 months ago. It came 2 days faster than I thought it would. I can't say much about the service because everything came exactly as ordered and there was no need for further contact. I got the 2.5" piping and magnaflow es oval, then added a 24" resonator later. Both the exhaust and Kteller get from me.

It's still a straight through like ES Oval. Even w/ resonators, it is LOUD in my opinion.

I believe the original poster wants something CLOSE to stock, both LOOKs and SOUND.

He lives in Pico Rivera. Cops in those areas are @#$@#$. It's close to El Monte, Montery Park cops, etc.

with the stock muffler it sounds like a ricer. it has a high pitched sound to it. i would rather want something deep, but not too crazy. i hate ricers!!

Buy a used Apexi World Sport Cat back, cut the muffler off, toss the piping, and annodize or Powder coat the muffler Flat black after you cut the tip off.
