Default what kinda time for a 90 civic SI HB with a

what kinda times could i get with a D16z6 in my 90 civic SI HB???

im just wondering cuz that is the easiest swap there is sint it for the 89-91 SI HB's???right??

also could u tell me the exact parts i would need to perform this swap

i know i can keep my stock SI trans ,,but is there a better trans to go with to give me better times??can i keep my axels ??will the AC bolt up onto the D16z6???etc,,etc,,

or is there another swap that is better for my 90 SI HB???
what would that involve it is better,,and what times would i be lookin at with that

im lookin to be hitting high 14's to low 15's with a swap in the 90 SI hatch
and thats just with the basic bolt on's

thanks mike

If you run this motor, you will have to convert your car to OBD1(92-95). I have the conversion harness for sale. Then run the P28 ecu that goes to that motor. Run the distr that came with that motor too. You will need your trans, cause that trans is hydro....unless you want to convert = pain.

That swap with basic boltons runs about 15 flat on street tires. Your car is 88-91 = non OBD or OBD0. I have a 90 civic and I have converted my car to OBD1 with this harness and the rest of the stuff. With a stock B16 and a hollowed cat, I ran a 14.7. With the car at OBD1......14.5 same setup. I would recommend getting the B16a swap. I can get you one for 1100 +shipping. This will yeild the best times and will prove to be the best building platform for future things.

ill keep u in mind for the b16a,,
how much is shipping??
also that is a full swap right??trans and everything??

do u have a shop??
what kinda HP do the b16a's have?
what car is that out off???arnt there a couple different cars that they were in,,and some had lower HP then others??

my GSR runs 14.9's,,and i would be happy with high 14's but if i could dip lower in the qtr with just a lil extra $$ then i would

does that b16a require a kit to bolt it in??
if so how much??
dont some of the b16a's have a LSD available??
how muc extra??

is there a place where i can read up about swaping the d16z6 into my 90??u know maybe a lil something bout converting it to the OBD1??
doo u know how alot of people say reset the ECU after every mod??
would i still do this on my 90??or would it make a difference??

also

what do u think would be a better platform to make a hybrid out off??
a 94 DX hatch or the 90 SI hatch

i have both,,but i just figured the 90 would be easier,,cuz i want to dot he B18c in the 94,,and thats a good 3200-3700$$,,and if i can get a nice swap for the 90 for like 1500$$ or less i figures i would just make that one a hybrid 1st,,
i plan on going hybrid on both but it will take a lil time,, for both

i wish someone would just rearend me in my teg and total it,,so i can buy it back and have a GSR swap for the 94hatch,,,,,,,heheheh

thanks mike
