what kind of times can i expect with either setup(b16a sir-2 or b18b) and i/h/e and clutch/8lb flywheel setup in my 4 door 92 eg civic>?>? what could it hang with or smote?? sorry, but this is my first 4 door project..

This guy I knew awhile back, had a 92-95 4 door DX with a B16A... He's been running the same motor for like 3 years now and I remember from the day it came out.. It had a B16A with the same mods you listed + a CTR intake cam and he was pulling like 14.1-13.9's on MT 20x6x14 slicks... It had no passenger or rear seats but that was about as far as the stripping went... Remember this was like 3 years ago so 14.0 back then wasn't that bad... Like the next year he swapped the head for a JG one (he went to a shop that I still don't like to this day, and have always LOVED JG ****)... I still hate JG **** to this day, atleast their work, cams, motors, etc.. So now this motor had a JG port/polish and some JG cams, along with some stupid *** chipped computer that had a 10k rev limiter... These guys also felt a STOCK B18C1 could make power to ~10000rpm.. Anyways with this new JG head he could run consistent 13.50's on the same slicks... (this was like 2 years ago) During this last season he was running the same times except he was running Bogart Pro 4's w/ M&H Racemaster 22.5x8.5x13 slicks... I know those slicks are too big for his motor and i'm pretty sure they weren't helping him any.... (that's another thing those guys did, they like to run big slicks on stock motors... hahaha ) I'm pretty sure his best to this date is like a 13.4 or so and I'm sure he's done more stuff to that motor then just what I know of.. One of my good friend's had a B16A in his EG like 2 years ago, with a CTR intake cam, I/H/E, clutch, and baby MT slicks he ran a 13.60... That's in a hatch tho!!! This last season he had a GSR in his car running 11.5:1 84mm JE slugs, a Portflow head, CTR intake cam, RC 310's, and a VAFC... Never dynoed and only tuned by feel he ran an 12.74@107.. oh well those **** that used to own that shop that I hate jacked his car a couple months ago and he lost everything cuz he only had liability... Pretty shitty but he's got a new turbo GSR EK that he is having built... Here's a pic of his car before it got jacked.... Sorry I kinda got off the topic but I was bored... Peace
