as i can see your civic is a eg so u can use your own cx engine wiring and you will need the following connector from the b16a2 wiring : vtec solenoid vtec pressure switch and knock sensor. im swapping my b16a gen 2 at the same time as you and its about to be complete tomorrow so if you got more question ask

Re: What engine harness for b16a swap? (pennies_hatchie)
Heres teh problem, i tried using my CX engine harness on the B16a motor, but none of the plugs on the cx harness will plug into the sensors on the motor, they have differnt plugs. I no that i have to wire up vtec, and knock sensor etc. but i just dont see how im going to get my cx harness to plug into any of the sensors on the b16. I was told i could take the sensors off the cx motor and put them on the B16a, but i dont see how theyd work. My swaps almost done but this wiring **** is holding me up, what do i do???? Someone who's done this please help me out
Is it possible for me to use the jdm harness, but just extend the wires on the plugs that connect to the chassis hanress and run the plugs to the oppostie sides?

The connectors on the distributor and a few others will be a whiteish/clear if it's a non-OBD B16A first gen. Grey plugs are used on the OBDI and OBDII motors. You can also check for the coolant temp sensor - it will be on the thermostat housing for OBDI or on the back of the block near the oil filter (large with 2 brass prongs like the oil switch) for non-OBD.

The distributor plug is gray, and if i rember correctly all the other ones are, i'll check on the coolant temp sensor tomorrow.
