what else do i need for a b20b swap
ive got a long block from a 97 crv and a s80 tranny. im going to swap it into an ek. i know for sure the intake manny is not going to fit but what other parts will i have to get? can i use the tb, alternator. exhaust manny? will 99-00 si motor mounts be a good choice? how about the shift linkage for the same car?
also, before the junk yard gets the crv. what else should i take off of it? the rear end was hit and the car was totaled.
i used the search but a lot of the info is unclear.

I don't think you want to use the exhaust manifold. It is crap. the stock LS one would be MUCH better from what I hear... you have an EK right? The distributor and alternator should work.. I know the TB works for my EG for sure..
You'll also need a b-series manual flywheel...
I have a b20b low rise intake manifold fs if you are looking for one..... It's actually better than the LS one because of the bigger ports...

thanks guys
troll, the b20b i have is usdm. ive got a skunk intake manifold and im gonna use the tb and sensors off the stock mani.
do you know if i can use the stock ecu? the thing is im not going to put a vtec head on it, so a vtec ecu will not work. the stock ecu is for an auto transmission but i have a s80 transmission from a type r. whats the best ecu to run on this setup? would the p75 be a good choice?

ya i'm using a p75 ecu chipped with a skunk2 chip
works great!
but i also hear u can use a sohc non-vtec ecu, and i also hear its better than the p75
