ive got a 2000 ex...gunna drop the motor in soon, Ill be running stock h22 obd1 ecu,/obd2b-obd1 con harness, ill need the resistor box wired up. If your getting the h2b kit, then your prob gunna be racing alot, so youll need tuning, so go obd1, dont waist yor time with obd2.

no, but you will need to make sure your fuel pressure is around 50 psi. the obd1 injectors need the resistor box, but only need 40-45 psi of fuel pressure.

u can't use obd1 P13 ECU with obd2 saturated injectors. U'll need a P28 or P72 ecu.

Why is that? obd1 injectors with a resistor box show the same impedance as obd2 injectors and no resistor box, and the obd2 290 cc's at 50 psi flows the same as obd 1 345 cc's at 40ish psi.

so if u use obd2 ecu and injector you won't have a prob...? i wanna do this in my 97 with the h2b.. but i wanna keep it obd2 compliant for emmitions,, but i'll use a obd2-1 conv harness the rest of the time on the street... can i use a obd1 motor or do i have to use obd2 motor?
