Default what ecu should I use for h22 in eg

I have a h22 running in a eg hatch. it is now running on a stock p28 ecu but is there a better way to run this or should I just chip it, if so where should I get the chip?

You should have it chipped with an H22 basemap, and then dyno tune it to squeeze a few ponies out, if you have the coin.

i would recommend you run the ecu thats meant for your motor and if u feel you need to chip then go for it. But i would say run a p13

P13 is what I am running. The only problem you will have with a P13 is a check engine light will come on going up hills for EGR (Exhaust Gas)

If he goes with a chipped ecu (PR4/P06/P28/whateva) then the computah won't even look for the EGR, but it also won't run the IAB's.

just stick with the p28 and definately get it chipped and dynoed, i would talk to someone around where you live and find an import shop that has a dynojet or some form of dyno. if there cool they won't rape you on the price

P28 crome tuned. Cheap and it works. i wouldn't run it on that stock p28 though. chip it and have it crome tuned. should run great.
