What do I need for my new engine?
I'm about to drop an B18c5 engine in my 98 honda civic and I was wondering what all do I need for the car to run smoothly, so it has the less problems? Also what else would I need to get my HP higher?

Try using the search function or, I prefer this method, go to Google and type some keywords like "b18c5 swap into 98 civic" followed by "Honda tech" and boom, instant results. People here look down on spoon feeding info that can be found with a quick search. I learned my lesson the hard way. Always assume someone has done what you are doing or has had the same problem before.

what year b18c5? you need an integra shift linkage, em1 t bracket, 2 post timing belt side mount. b series axles and half shaft. You will also need to do the iavc conversion, wire vtec, possibly do the ckf bypass trick, possibly change your alternator plug. This fas been covered so many times.. What trim level is your civic?

Also, upgrade your tires and breaks so you dont crash. You can put integra or em1 front brakes on, and depending on your trim level, rear disc conversion!
