What to do to get this bad boy up to 350hp
I am about to order a JMD B18c complete swap. The shop says it is 200hp. What modifications would I have to make to get it to 350hp, safely. Also is there engine monitoring systems you can install in your car so you can see when you are pushing it to far

*JDM stock it's rated at 180hp(145whp ?) so to get 350 you'r going to NEED to boost it. Do a lot more research first i can tell you didn't

That shop is BSin you! Jdm b18c is rated @ 178hp. I have one- maybe you mean b18c5(type r)?
Check forced induction section. I think you'll be suprised how much a high quality turbo kit is.
You can piece a kit together sourcing parts from guys on ht w quality parts for a lot less.
350 needs quite a bit of work/investment compared to stock regardless of jdm.

Yes, that's pretty potent in the right chassis. Pretty much "easy" boost build to add 100hp. Check forced induction section and look at b series builds' parts list. Most "extra" power over boost comes from fuel/valvetrain/tuning.

Are you guys forgetting a jdm itr motor is 200hp and still stamped *b18c*.....
Op, read the faq's in the forced induction forum....thats the only way to get it to 350whp, and its been done thousands of times.

Op juggernaut is right, sorry. Jdm typer has b18c stamped. Don't fall for red valve cover. Look @ intake manifol design to make sure its not a gsr. Worst case, pull valve cover and make sure intake side has dual valvesprings. Only typer has these stock

Def a typer- I dunno that the price is that good though. You should be able to find a better price than that. I've heard on here hmotorsonline is pretty good.

Both are good deals...I would always perfer to buy from hmo though.
Crazy you can get a low mileage full complete itr swap for $3700 nowadays. I have a hmo b16b swap, bought it from a buddy, but he bought it way back when & paid $4299 from hmo. smh. Luckily I didnt pay that outrageous price for a destroked itr.
