VTEC solenoiD wiring problems
I ran into a problem, while Doing my swap... I have a 99 JDM ITR motor anD using a p28 wiring harness for my 94civic coupe ex to Do the sawp. Now the problem is that the VTEC solenoiD on the ITR has only one plug... while the harness for the p28 has two plugs one straight to the solenoiD itself... leaving me with a green (two wire plug) that goes nowhere... on the stock D16z6 motor, the green plug, plugs in right below the vtec solenoiD into the whole vtec unit... its like an oil pressure sensor for the vtec or something like that... now i was wonDering if there was anyway to bypass this, or Do i have to get a whole vtec solenoiD unit off another motor?? any help or suggestions ??

It sounds like your JDM motor doesn't have the Oil Pressure Switch, a lot of the newer JDM motors didn't have them for whatever reason. All you have to do is run that wire to a ground & viola I'd suggest sourcing a pressure switch though, it's at least a little extra insurance for your engine.......
