Default Vtec not working for h22 in a del sol

The car runs really well till it needs to hit vtec then it has a real bad studder but doesnt lose power and revs a little slower. replaced the dizzy, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and fuel pump. The car still does it and is really getting annoying.
Is there anything in the wiring maybe that might be different or should i try to replace the vtec solenoid.

My car is a 95 honda del sol and it has a 94 jdm h22a1 in it.
thanks for any advice.

First of all, are u getting any CEL's? Also check to make sure you have enough oil in your engine or VTEC will not engage, also, u could also check ur ecu wiring and make sure that the vtec soleniod and vtec pressure switch are in the correct pins.
