I am getting about 12 volts of power to the yellow black wire. I am getting resistance in the black wire. This is for the vss. So both those wires check out fine. When I spin a wheel and back probe the oarnge wire it doesn't go from 0-5 volts like it is suppose it. As soon as I probe the oarnge wire it reads 4 and stays their. So does this mean I need a vss sensor?

The wire harness for the car is a conversion of a 98civichx and a 94 jdm gsr.

Thier were like 5 wires going into 3 wires for the vss. When I lengthened it the wiring got screwed up I believe. Does anyone know how to rewire a 94 vss sensor onto a 98 civic wire harness?

Now onto the 02 heater sensor cel.

I put a plx m300 on my car and this is when the problem started. I bought 2 10 watt resistors from radio shack and installed them in series between the 2 black wires for the o2 heater and I still get the cel. I've also tried wiring in the old 02 sensor onto the heater wires without the green and white wires hooked up and it still doesn't work and that is the actual heater!!!

I know the vss is causing vtec not to work and the 02 heater is causing me to stay in closed loop or whatever so thier slowing me down!

Please help.

If anybody knows the pinout for the vss that would be great. I could just rewire all three wires coming from the sensor.
