Re: (TwinTurboCivic)
Hey TwinTurboCivic,
Thanks for the info...I called up the shop and spoke with the mechanic who did the swap. He indicated that it was and accord euro type r h22 with a chipped P28 with the vtec crossover @ 4800 and redline @ 8200. He stated that it is a custom burned chip. He stated that he dynoed the car then burned the chip according to the output. He also stated that it also has an MSD digital 6 setup.
As far as the setup...it's all motor and is bone stock. Evenything internally is bone stock. He did state however that the car runs on a carburated system? I have never heard of H22 running on this system before. Would it yeild greater power benefits??? I spoke to my local shop and have never heard of this claim. They staed that on the previous prelude engines this may have applied however they don't see the benefit of running an H22 on a carburated system.
If anyone has any feedback or knowledge of an H22 carburated system do tell.

Individual Throttle Bodies = Good on any car, however gains on a stock H22 shouldn't be that great

Re: (DFW)
Yeah....he does have LSD, he also has the stock transmission box that comes stock with the euro type r on his setup. The mechanic stated that it helps him out alot. The mechanic who put it together stated that this setup and track run is about three years old.
...still a fast car, I have never ran with Falken Azenis drag radials but damn! I'm pretty sure if he had on some 22" slicks it would have put down some even better times. His trap speed is on crack!!!

Re: (skunked)
Hey SKUNKED,
What's up!!! I hit u up on the IM's however I'm not sure you got them. What is with the carburated H22 setup. Have you read up or seen anything like it? Or is it simply the ITB's that they are speaking of when they mention "carburated setup."
...oh yeah one more thing, I have never seen sleeper street hatches running 11's? Possibly stripped down to the bone with absolutely no weight! The only person I know breaking into 11's is Max over at MHR. I really don't see alot of NA H22 running 11's...I heard it takes alot of work, $$$, time, and driver skill.

well like i posted above i live in the same city as he does and the shop he built it at is right down my street but the word on the street is that he doesnt really actually run those times......if u notice in the video the camera man doesnt zoom into the time board so there is no proof....also a vr6 golf challeneged him the other day to a legal race down the track and he refused and declined the challenge.......no as untouchable as u think!
