Default valve ticking(adjusted 200miles ago)

like the topic says, i adjusted my valves before i started it up after the rebuild, i put 130 miles on the motor then it had about 3 weeks down time (waiting for a part) when i started it again the valves were a bit noisy, i'm gonna do another adjustment today, is this normal, what could be making it do that?

If your valves are still lashed correctly then I would suspect oil blockage to the head. Obviously in that case the valvetrain is not getting the require oil (decavitation). Use motor flush or Marvel mystery oil. That should fix it. If not its a head off job. If there are high miles on it then it also could be a worn out valve train and would require a rebuild. I drove 20,000 miles on my old CX engine without a problem b4 I swapped. I didnt care about the engine as long as it ran.

good luck.

i think i got it,
the cams were new and the factory wore off, so the clearance widened.
