valve spring/retainer/cam combo for b20vtec...
I have read several posts about valve springs and cam, but I did not find any that really helped me. I have US b20b, first gen b16 head, 10.5:1 JE's, eagle rods, shunk2 chipped p28 with 8800 rev limiter. I am not going to sit on the rev limiter, but I would like to use when I needed. What I am thinking of doing is moving the stock b16 innner and outer springs to exhaust side, then using US itr inner and outer intake springs for the intake side. I will retain the b16 exhaust cam and use a US itr intake cam. Also, I was going to use portflow ti retainers. Anybody see any problems with this plan. Or, should I just stay stock until money allows me to do the head completely. It will be a daily driver and I would like to keep costs down.
Also, should I use a Helms integra (94-00) or civic (96-00).

well, from what I've heard. The first gen b16 valve springs are not going to do well revving that high. They are older and loose some of their strength. I think your idea is good, just maybe those springs have some excess mileage on them. I would consider getting Portflow springs all around. It wouldn't hurt you any, expecially since you're revving so high. portflow's retainers would be good too.

Should I use portflow inners and outers, or just outers, or just inners. This inner and outer spring stuff has me a little confused. Which is combo is better. Also if I use portflows, then is it a really good idea to get both itr cams, or will the the b16 cams be sufficient for now.
