Using a 5 wire o2 seonsor with a 4 wire ecu????
Ok guys, me and my friends just swapped a d15b7 into this kids eg VX because the vx motor was shot.
Now i decided to use the p06 ecu that came with the d15b7, cause it will run the engine better without any of the vtec codes.
Heres the problem. We are getting a code 41. primary o2 sensor-heated. Im figuring its because we are using a 5 wire 02 and harness, when the po6 is designed for a 4 wire o2, and my guess is the pinouts may be diffrent or something.
Can anyone give me a little insight into what may make this work??? Can i somehow wire the 5 wire o2 to work, or do i need a 4 wire, and what wiring do i need to do to get it working properly and clear this code???
Thanks for your help guys...
---Joe

---Joe</TD></TR></TABLE>you need to get a schematic for the p06 ecu and wire up the 4 wires for the (4 wire 02).what are the colors of wires on the 5 wire 02 plug(harness side)?
