Default Updateing Honda powered Sand Rail

I have an old EK1 motor and trans in my sand rail. I would like to swap in a newer motor. My question is, does my 81 trans have the same mounting locations on the trans as the new B-series transmissions? What year did the same mounting locations go up to?

Default Re: Updateing Honda powered Sand Rail (CarBizIndio)

I got my hands on a transmission from a B16 motor so I can compare the mounting differences. I found a core B16 and trans for 300, but he doesnt have the wireharness, is there a company that sells a aftermarket wire harness.
